A tribute piece intended for historical and collectible display purposes.
This handcrafted tribute piece commemorates Marvin Heemeyer and the infamous “Killdozer” of Granby, Colorado. The model features a detailed recreation of the modified bulldozer, complete with its armored steel plating and distinctive blade configuration that became known around the world in 2004.
The display is mounted on a unique concrete-style base designed to represent the buildings and structures that stood in the path of the machine during Heemeyer’s final act of protest. Rather than a traditional stand, the base serves as a symbolic reminder of the events that unfolded on June 4, 2004.
A memorial plaque is embedded into the front of the display, bearing Marvin Heemeyer’s name, dates, and his well-known quote:
“Sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things.”
Designed as a conversation piece for collectors of unusual history, Americana, and engineering lore, this tribute captures one of the most debated and talked-about events in modern American history. Every angle highlights the imposing nature of the armored bulldozer while the concrete-inspired base ties the entire story together in a unique display format.
